Sebastián graduated from our school in 1986, as a Dux Medallist. He graduated from the Universidad de Belgrano as a psychologist in 1995; he holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Master’s degree in International Studies from the Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a Doctorate in Governance of Educational Reforms from Maastrich University, Holland.
Sebastián began work as a prívate teacher for Maths and Science, for St. Andrew’s students. He then worked as a psychologist at a private clinic and as a consultant (from New York) in Deloitte, Booz & Co. For several years, he carried out educational reforms for the government of Abu Dhabi and lately was a partner in Palladium strategic management and development group. He also worked as a consultant in educational reform for the OECD, World Bank, United Nations and USAID, evaluating educational systems and schools for the governments of Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Egypt, and Guatemala, among others.
As CEO of ACEESA, Sebastián is the executive of highest responsibility for SASS as well as for other activities carried out by ACEESA, Red San Andrés (RedSA) and CIAESA (St. Andrew’s Centre of Applied Educational Investigation), also for activities related to CASA (St. Andrew’s Extended Community), Fundación San Andrés, Club San Andrés, Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA), St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (IPSA) and Fundación para el Desarrollo Comunitario San Andrés.
