Juan Pablo graduated from St Andrew’s in 1997.
He is holds Bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and in Psychology, both from USAL. He took a post graduate course in post rationalist psychotherapy (CETEPO) Centro de terapias cognitivas pos racionalistas.
He studied music in California (MI, Musicians’ Institute) and taught music (guitar) for 16 years.
He established a centre for personal awakening, ELAN CIRCLES, where he works at present as a clinical psychologist and organises workshops.
He works with young people at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, North Branch, and has coordinated spiritual retreats during the last 20 years.
At school he has taught History, Psychology and Human Rights. At present he teaches and coordinates SEI&L (Spiritual Emotional Intelligence and Leadership) and teaches TOK (Theory of Knowledge) in Years 11 and 12.
He has acted as facilitator in Hero’s journey foundation, in USA, offering immersion experiences in nature for people from all over the world.
More than 8 years ago, together with Daniel Vilasetrú, he started SEEKERS club: a personal exploration and way-to-visualise-life experience, for students from Y7 to Y12.
