As part of our author study project, Year 4 celebrated “Roald Dahl Day”.
Teachers and pupils came dressed up as some of his memorable characters. Some chose to wear Roald’s favourite colour, yellow. Others wore their clothes on backwards.
Pupils wrote their own revolting rhymes and riddles and some put together their own “Oompa Loompa” inspired dances.
We enjoyed a wonderful parade around the school. It was great fun and a nice way to honour such a great author!
