Finger painting is an amazing art technique that helps the development of hand-eye co-ordination and fine motor skills. It also works as a liberating agent of expression through a variety of visual, tactile and kinesthetic sensations.

The Ladybugs discovered all of this with a finger painting sequence. Working on nylon-covered tables, the children were given the opportunity to explore the material with their hands. After the activity had been done with just paint, adding sand allowed us to expand the sensorial experience.
Through art one can express one's deepest thoughts; by playing with paint they created, manipulated, imagined, felt and discovered.
It was an awesome experience and The Ladybugs enjoyed it very much.
