What a fantastic show we have been treated to by the Y4, 5 and 6 students!
Annie2.0 is Mr. Oscar Llobenes’ version of the story of a charismatic and determined young girl, set in modern New York City. Stuck in a boarding school run by the cruel Miss Hannigan, Annie is forced to live a life of misery and torment. She sets out to find her long-lost parents who left her years ago.
Annie charms everyone’s hearts through her courage and her will to overcome her difficulties. Thanks to her adventures, she finds a new home and family in the billionaire Teddy Stacks. The play is loaded with lovable –and some not so loveable- characters.
This concert features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including the heartfelt “Maybe” and the timeless “Tomorrow”; wonderfully sung by the actors and actresses.
All the performers worked extremely hard and were excited to present their work to the St. Andrew’s Community. Soloists, cast, student musicians, backstage team and choreographers, parents and staff –all joined in to make this production a success! The shows were wonderful and enjoyed by all!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see it and thank you to everyone that helped to make this special and heartwarming musical!
A huge job well done to all involved!
