Y6 students in Punta Chica got together with Y5 in order to teach them what they know about the present tenses.
Year 6 studied the present tenses in groups and created infographics which they then shared with their Y5 friends. After that, each Y5 student, coached by a Y6 one, carried out different activities in stations in order to master what they had learnt.
This proved students learn a great deal by explaining their ideas to others and by participating in activities in which they can learn from their peers.
They develop skills in organizing and planning learning activities, working collaboratively with others, giving and receiving feedback and evaluating their own learning.
