Leadership builds confidence and helps children solve problems, working collaboratively with others.

The Olivos Primary Junior Leadership Team was announced during our first assembly. The School Monitors, Student Council and House Captains received their badges from the Head Girl and Head Boy from Secondary, together with Mr. Sebastian Rubens y Rojo.

Miss Caroline reflected upon this special 180th Anniversary year, urging the children to enjoy each day, do their best and uphold the values of our School Mission -integrity, respect and responsibility.

Mr. Rubens y Rojo spoke to the children about the importance of having leaders and belonging to a team. He gave them examples of leaders at school and highlighted how belonging to a team helps us to learn to get along with others; to work and cooperate across differences.

The children sang an inspirational song "A Million Dreams", led by Mr. Oscar.

Every night I lie in bed
The brightest colors fill my head
A million dreams are keeping me awake
A million dreams, a million dreams
I think of what the world could be
A vision of the one I see
A million dreams is all it's gonna take
A million dreams for the world we're gonna make
The assembly ended with everyone joining in to sing the School Song.

Let’s dream and work hard to make our dreams come true!
