On March 9th we celebrated our first Assembly. This was a special meeting, as the members of the Student Council, Monitors and House Captains were announced.
Student Council members help organize various activities and participate in meetings to discuss and resolve issues related to students. Each class votes for its representative. The student council helps share students’ ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school principals. There are class representatives from Y4, Y5 and Y6.
Students who are selected to be Monitors must do well academically, be responsible and behave correctly. They must also act with integrity, be considerate, and possess leadership qualities and the ability to express their ideas with maturity. The Monitors collaborate with their peers and teachers acting as mediators.
The House Captains collaborate with the teachers and their classmates, helping in sports and showing team spirit. House Captains help House members commit to the team and willingly accept both defeat and victory, while maintaining a positive attitude.
We are proud of our students. Being a leader is "showing the way" and that leads to responsibility and commitment.
We wish our Student Leader Team all the best in the months ahead!!!
