On Thursday May 5 all of K5 visited the Bs.As. Zoo as part of our new unit.
This visit is a very useful trigger to start off the unit with a lot of enthusiasm for research and investigation.
Our main focus was to see the animals that were in danger of extinction.
Some of the animals we saw were: a white Bengal Tiger, a white Lion, Chimpanzees, Sandra the Orangutan, a Tapir, Elephants, Zebras, Spider Monkeys, Meer cats, Giraffes and Hippopotamus.
We enjoyed a lovely, not too cold, morning.
Luckily most of the animals came quite close to us which according to our guides was quite unusual.
