For the last two weeks of Maths lessons the year 8 students worked on a project involving Probability. The aim of this project was to invent their own fairground games and use experimental probability to calculated the expected number of winners and therefore see if their game could make a profit!

Two winning groups from each class (voted for by the students) then took part in a fair to raise money for community service at lunchtime on Wednesday 25th November. Both students and staff had a great time and we managed to raise $925 for community service!
