The School Monitors, Student Council and House Captains were announced and the the Head Girl and Boy from Secondary, together with the Senior House Captains, handed them their badges.

Miss Caroline reflected upon the importance of integrity, respect and responsibility: and the need to put our best effort into everything we do!

The children sang "Listen", led by Mr. Oscar. The assembly ended with all the children singing the school song.

We wish the children who were chosen all the best in the year ahead!

Having INTEGRITY means being totally honest and truthful in every part of your life. To be totally honest with others, you first have to be totally honest with yourself. You have to be true to yourself. Every time you keep a promise that you’ve made, it is an act of integrity, which in turn makes you stronger.

We show RESPECT by considering and taking seriously other peoples’ feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and needs. By showing respect to others, we show that we value them and their thoughts. We also show respect by listening to others, being truthful with them and accepting their uniqueness.  When people respect each other, there are less conflicts and less fighting.  Follow the Golden Rule: Treat others as you want to be treated. Be polite, treat people fairly and honestly, listen to what they have to say. Consider other people’s points of view and listen without interrupting. Believe in yourself and be happy to be yourself; don’t pressure yourself to compare or compete with others.

RESPONSIBILITY means accepting the consequences of your actions. We all make mistakes. It is a natural part of life. By accepting responsibility we improve our integrity. Accept the consequences of your actions and move on. Accept responsibility, learn from it, and move on with your life.
